The Golden Triangle is that section of Cherry Hill bounded by the Cooper River, Haddonfield Road, Route 38 and Cuthbert Blvd.  It's not really a triangle but a trapezoid.  Perhaps the area originally included the piece going on up to Route 70 and Route 38.  The Township with a grant from the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission (Golden%20Triangle_RFP.pdf).

This study was originally envisioned to be a Transportation Study with the intent of increasing the use of the NJ Transit station behind the ShopRite in the Garden State Pavilions.  But it is much more general in scope.  The study was awarded to TandMAssociates.com with the lead planner being Stanley Slachetka.  Natalie Shafiroff is the main contact at the Township.

Two background papers are available here:
            (1) RealEstateMarketAnalysisVer1.pdf
            (2) Tech_Memo_3_09.pdf

A number of interviews were conducted with local "stakeholders" including two members of the Civic Association.  (Satjeet Khalsa and John Moffett)  An interesting summary of these interviews can be found here : Stakeholder_Summary.pdf

Subsequently a meeting of the so-called "steering committee" was held.  This group's membership is listed here: steering_committee (1).pdf.  I don't know of any minutes published for that meeting.  I attended this meeting but don't know what it's formal role is - if any.

A first public session was held on April 28th (Flyer_VisionI.pdf)  with a second and final session to be held soon.
