National Night Out - America's Night Out Against Crime

On August 6, 2009 there will be a hearing at Cherry Hill Township building to discuss a zoning issue in our neighborhood.  The time and meeting room will be published here.  This meeting has been postponed several times.  The issue involves turning a residential property into a commercial property.  If this passes, it will be a significant blow to property values and the safety of our children on our streets.  It will also set a precedent that will be hard defeat if someone else tries to introduce a commercial property into a residential neighborhood.  Please come out and support your neighbors.

Ongoing Membership Drive

The Woodland Civic Association has an ongoing membership drive. There are challenges facing our area that are in need of the attention by neighbors who care about the street they live, in a community we can be proud of.

Our current leadership is involved in projects that include improving municipal services, preventing commercial intrusion into residential zones, and influencing capital projects that will better serve our area.

Recently many beautiful new homes have been built or are under construction in the section of the township covered by the Woodland Civic Association.  Our population has grown denser, thus our voice at Town Hall should grow stronger.

We support homeowners in need of our help to deal with situations that threaten and disrupt the peace and tranquility we have enjoyed for many years.

Join us to keep our area well represented. We welcome you to attend our meetings to get the facts about the issues. Hear what your neighbors have to say.  If you want your voice to be heard, please attend our meetings.

Get to know all your neighbors and show how we can stand together.
